Simply go to the UDYAM REGISTRATION PORTAL to register an MSME. With or without a PAN card and an Aadhar card number, this can be done.

The procedures for obtaining a PAN card for an MSME are as follows:

  • On the portal, go to the “For New Entrepreneurs who have not yet Registered as MSME” tab.
  • Fill in your name and Aadhar number as suggested on the MSME registration page.
  • Create and verify an OTP.
  • If you already have a PAN card, the site will pull information from the government database, but you will need to complete the ITR form.
  • After authenticating your PAN, fill out the information for your factory or industry.
  • After you’ve entered all of your information, you’ll need to submit it to get a final OTP.
  • After this stage, your MSME registration will be complete, and you will be given a reference number. It may take a few hours for the MSME registration to be verified, after which you will receive the Udyam Registration Certificate.

The majority of the procedures for MSME Registration without a PAN card are the same as those described above, however, you must select “No” as an answer to the question “Do you have a PAN?”

The remaining data – industry and personal – must be filled in to complete the procedure.

To avoid Udyam registration suspension, remember to update your PAN and GSTIN on the portal.

For individuals who already hold an EM-II or UAM, MSME registration:

If you already have an EM-II or UAM registration, go to the udyam registration portal and click the ‘For those who have an EM-II or UAM registration’ button.

Then, in the following step, input your Udyog Aadhar number and generate/verify OTP. The MSME registration procedure will be completed at this point.
